MEA Released Items

Note: ALL of the documents on this site are in Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) format. You must have Adobe Reader installed on your machine to access them correctly. You can download it at http://www.adobe.com/. It is free, downloadable software.

Because these files are all quite large, you will have best results if you save the file to your hard drive and then open it locally. To do this, right click on the name of the file you want to download. When the submenu appears, select "save target as" and a windows dialog box will come up prompting you to select a drive and path to save the file.

READING and MATHEMATICS: There are no MEA released items available in reading or mathematics because 2008 - 09 was the last year that the MEA assessed those content areas. The items may be viewed and printed by school personnel through the secure Reporting Tool provided by the MEA contractor, Measured Progress. The names and copyright information for the released passages that accompany the reading items are located at this link.

Maine will assess students in reading and mathemetics using the New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP) Released NECAP Items in test. Reading and mathematics can be viewed by clicking on " New England Common Assessment Program" (NECAP) in the column to the left, then on Released Items in the same column.
