his page contains information about processed, prepared and Net Off Invoice "NOI" items for Maine Schools.NET OFF INVOICE (NOI)Net off invoice is the system where Processed USDA Food is ordered with your regular order from your regular distributor. They will deliver the NOI item and the School District gets a discount on the item for the value of USDA Food in the item. The schools can receive these items as often as they wish and get the discount as long as they have allotment. Processor Link and K12 Food Services are companies that are used to track orders and allotment balances online. They must be contacted to receive a password and ID to enable you to monitor your balance for the processors you chose to work with. When you receive your invoice for these items check to make sure your district is receiving the discount. It is very important that twice a year when you get the message from either company, Processor Link or K12, and they ask you to very the sales that you complete this process. The processors are required to verify a certain percentage of transactions, and if this is not completed, we might have to stop the NOI program. WHY should my district participate in NOI program?The NOI programs allows: --district to purchase weekly instead of one big monthly delivery --district to purchase product months commodities are not available --district to ensure they utilize all of their PAL --a consistent product when commodity dollars run out --district to have a wider selection of products --district to pick a distributor The NOI program does not penalize district for using or not using NOI product Listed below are raw products and proposed manufactures for NOI:Cheese:
