School Health Advisory Council (SHAC)

The focus of the School Health Advisory Committee and the respective Departments is on the Comprehensive School Health Program, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control.

The School Health Manual is available electronically. Each section of the Manual is available as a separate electronic file from this site.  This will allow sections to be updated on an on-going basis.  See Table of Contents.

Conferences and Trainings

School Nurse Spring Conference and Blaine House Tea, May 15, 2013

The School Nurse Spring Conference is full and registration is now closed, but please register for the waitlist. If we cannot accomodate everyone on the waitlist, those who register will receive information about a repeat summer conference.

The Concussion Policy Implementation presentation is being recorded and will be made available on the DOE website after the conference.
