To apply to become a certified teacher individuals must have a 4 year bachelors degree or higher and meet particular certification standards and coursework requirements established by the Department of Education.
To apply to become authorized as an educational technician individuals must satisfy educational requirements established by the Department of Education.
Individuals wishing to pursue a career as a certified teacher or an educational technician in public schools, early childhood settings and as providers of developmental therapy through the Child Development Services can obtain specific coursework or enroll in specific degree granting programs.
