Welcome
Welcome to our home. John, Jack, and I are proud to live in the Blaine House, the residence of Maine Governors. John calls this house the "People's House." Over 14,000 people visit the Blaine House each year, not including the government departments and non-profit agencies that hold meetings, receptions, and teas. Sam and Mia, our two English Springer Spaniels, enjoy greeting the many students who visit the residence as well.
We are the 21st family to live under the Blaine House roof. The staff of the Blaine House and the residents of Augusta have made us feel more than welcome. Augusta is the seat of Maine government and is a wonderfully historic and exciting place to live, work, and visit.
The State House Complex is comprised of the State House Building, which includes the House of Representatives, the Maine State Senate, and the Office of our 73rd Governor. Also located in the State House Complex: the Maine State Museum, the Maine State Library, and the Maine State Archives. Plan an enriching visit today!
John, Jack, and I are grateful for the opportunity we have been given, and we will do what we can to make meaningful differences in the lives of Maine families.
