Rep. Jan Dodge is serving her fourth term in the Maine House of Representatives. She proudly sits on the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee.
A Belfast Area High School graduate, Dodge earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Michigan and returned home to Maine to begin her career. After teaching music in public schools for 30 years, Dodge is now retired but remains an active advocate for Maine’s students and teachers.
She has been involved with the Maine Education Association’s Government Relations Committee and MEA-Retired positions. She was formerly the chair of Aging Well in Waldo County’s steering committee, has worked with Waldo County Triad and is involved with the Belfast Chamber of Commerce and the Waldo County Mass Care Response Team.
