Rep. Tavis Hasenfus is serving his third term in the Maine House of Representatives.
Hasenfus is active in his community, formerly serving as a board member of the Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed and the Winthrop Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce. He has also volunteered as a member of the Winthrop Recreation Committee and as a coach for young athletes of all ages.
A graduate of the University of Maine and the University of Maine School of Law, Hasenfus is a general practice attorney. He is a third generation Winthrop High School graduate.
Hasenfus lives in Readfield, less than a mile from his Winthrop childhood home, with his wife and three children. Hasenfus can think of no better place to raise his family than Readfield and Winthrop and is honored to represent the communities that raised him.
