Proposed Stocking Program Changes

Stocking proposals that have successfully passed the Fisheries Division’s peer review process are presented below for public comment in accordance with Sec. 1. 12 § 12758-A. Stocking programs that have been proposed for termination are also presented below for public comment. Please contact Dave Boucher, Fisheries Management Supervisor, if you have questions regarding these stocking changes.

This program is intended to create a small, but consistent lake trout fishery for large fish, while maintaining smelt abundance for forage and for winter hook and line anglers.
