Little Osspieee River Tract

Location: Town of Limington; 18 mi. w of Portland.

Habitat: River, river-edge wetlands, and shoreline forests.

Appr. size: 1,139 ac.

NOTE: The Limington, Hollis and Waterboro Sanctuary occurs partly within the Killick Pond WMA and Little Ossipee River Tract. Hunting and trapping is prohibited on wildlife sanctuaries (with some exceptions). In addition, loaded firearms are not permitted to be carried within these two sanctuaries. The sanctuary boundaries may be found at the link to the text descriptions of the sanctuaries in Title 12, below:
