Steep Falls WMA

DeLorme: Map 4, D-4.

Location: Towns of Standish and Baldwin; 10 mi. sw of North Windham.

Habitat: Primarily upland forests; some wetlands.

Appr. size: 4,910 ac.

NOTE: The Standish Sanctuary occurs partly within the Steep Falls Wildlife Management Area. Hunting and trapping is prohibited on wildlife sanctuaries (with some exceptions). In addition, loaded firearms are not permitted to be carried within these two sanctuaries.
