Mattagodus Stream WMA

Location: Unorganized township of Webster Plantation; 4.5 se of Kingman on Rt. 170.

Habitat: Primarily a variety of inland wetlands (856 ac.); some upland forestlands (520 ac.).

Appr. size: 1,370 ac.

Note: This map is now called the Mattawamkeag River System WMA. It includes three separate WMAs that we pulled into one, since they were all connected to some extent. These were the Mattagodus WMA, Page Farm WMA, and (the original) Mattawamkeag River WMA. The Mattagodus WMA portion is the most southern of the three, Page Farm in the middle and Mattawamkeag to the east and including the two separate parcels on the north side of the river to the railroad tracks.
