Is this my habitat?

Yes

Semipalmated Plover
Beach area
During high tide, Semipalmated Plovers need a safe place to rest and digest their food. A cobblestone beach may not look too comfortable, but it is actually quite cozy among these round stones. Also, plovers and sandpipers, with their coloration, can easily hide from predators here. This is a perfect roost (a place to rest)!
