Is this my habitat?

No

Wood Duck
Loosestrife choked marsh

Even though this marsh has nest cavities in many snags, the purple loosestrife (which came from Europe) has displaced most of the native wetland plants (like burreed and cattail) that create better habitat for the insect foods preferred by Wood Ducks. There is very little open water for ducks to travel through in this loosestrife-choked marsh.
