Deleting Records

Deleting item records

To delete an item record go to the Summary screen and click on or highlight the item record you wish to remove. Next select Delete on the right just above the list of item records. You may only delete your library’s item records. Be sure to remove any Location codes from the bib record when the library’s last copy is removed.

Deleting a bib record

As the last item record is deleted a prompt will appear to also delete the bib record. This is to insure that bib records are not left in the database without item records attached. If there are no item records attached, go to the bib record screen; select File in the upper left corner of the record and choose Delete bib record from the drop down record. A record cannot be deleted if there are still item records attached.
