Exploring Your System Settings
An understanding of the current configuration of the system can help
in troubleshooting unexpected system behavior and planning changes in
that configuration. Much is available directly from the system
itself. Some information, however, is buried deeper within the
system and can only be obtained upon request to the system administrator. The
table below indicates how to obtain a variety of such information.
