Bend the Curve Steering Committee Meeting

December 22, 2004

The following are points of interest that were discussed at the Bend the Curve portion of the Bureau/Division Director’s meeting on Wednesday, December 22, 2004:

  • A paper on Planned/Current work relationship was distributed and discussed. 
  • A financial update will occur at the next staff meeting.  There are now more savings than expenditures.
  • Jane gave a Union update stating both Winnie Malia and Darryl Touchette had completed their 360 Survey and will go into a learning group.  They will also attend the monthly Extended Leadership Team meetings.
  • The ELT December 28 meeting Agenda will include a summary of events to-date and a report on how the teams are working
  • Kim reported that she as 14 applications for Facilitator Training.  Susan Gallant will do assessment interviews the first week of January.  Laura Boyett asked for a list of applicants and Kim will copy all the Bureau Directors.
  • Susan Gallant will do a presentation at the January 12 Bureau Director’s meeting on how possible approaches to an organizational redesign of the Department.
  • The Bend the Curve posters are ready for distribution to the field.
