Website VSM Meeting Minutes 1/10/05

I wanted to get out a brief update on where we stand currently.

At this point, our current and future states are mapped in Word and Visio. I gave copies of both to Adam for this afternoon's update session. Each of you should have the Word version. I will speak to Brenda Evans about getting the map printed on the plotter so we can have it on the wall at future meetings. However, the figures we used at China Lake continue to look unrealistic so David and I will map a specific process and have the results {metrics} ready by 20th of January.

I have contacted all the webmasters listed on the sheet Ruby provided and am keeping her updated on changes {there are a lot}. Once the list is complete and updated, I'll let the team know. To date, none have responded to our question about other types of events that would trigger a change to the website.

I am still trying to get a copy of the DOL site onto CD for each team member and will let you know when this is available. Hopefully, later this week.

The next meeting is scheduled for 20th of January between 09:00 and 15:00 at the Augusta Career Center. It will be in the conference room behind the reception area on the first floor.

Today we received training from Jon Kirsch on holding a kaisen event. We are already part of the way through our first and it was good to know that we were headed in the right direction.

Tomorrow, I'll be sending along some additional material for the meeting of the 20th. If you respond, please forward via email or snail mail to Rachel Newman at 6 Beech Street Hallowell, Maine 04333.
