About Rep. Blodgett

Rep. Anna D. Blodgett was born in Blue Hill and graduated from George Stevens Academy and Husson College. She has lived in Augusta since 1970 and retired four years ago as director of parks, cemeteries and trees for the City of Augusta.

Rep. Blodgett’s community involvement has included Augusta’s Bicentennial Committee, Augusta Tree Board, Planning Board, church boards, Beta Sigma Phi sorority and scouts. She is presently on the Board of Directors of the Friends of Lithgow Library, Kennebec Historical Society, Eastside Planning Committee, Board of Directors of the Friends of the Flatiron Building, and Board of Augusta Warming Center. She has been a member of Penney Memorial Baptist Church for more than 30 years.

She is married to Michael Blodgett and they have two grown children, Todd and Megan, and three granddaughters, Maeve, Maya and Kaleigh.
