About
Rep. Goode
Rep. Adam Goode works as the Head Boys and Girls Cross Country
Coach at Bangor High School and is pursuing a master's degree in
Social Work at the University of Maine. From 2005 to 2011 he worked
as an environmental organizer at the Maine People’s Alliance
and Maine Peoples Resource Center, a citizen action group involved
in social and environmental issues.
Adam has served on the steering committee for the Alliance for
a Clean and Healthy Maine, working to protect Maine children and
families from toxic chemicals used in household products. He has
worked to improve the quality of health care that Mainers receive
as a member of Aligning Forces for Quality. He is currently a member
of the Worker Rights Board of Eastern Maine.
A fifth-generation Bangor resident, Rep. Goode was born in Calais
and grew up in Bangor, graduating from Bangor High School and the
University of Maine. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing
music and spending time at Beech Hill Pond.
