About
Rep. Bolduc
Rep. Bolduc was raised in New Auburn, the traditionally Franco enclave
of Auburn just across the Androscoggin river from Little Canada in Lewiston.
After graduating from Edward Little High School in 1992, he went on to graduate
from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire with a degree in Political
Science. Immediately after graduating, Rep. Bolduc returned home and was
elected to represent his community in the Maine House of Representatives.
After serving two terms, he worked a variety of jobs before traveling in
Eastern Europe. In 2004, Rep. Bolduc began the process to gain certification
as a social studies teacher and in the fall of 2008 he re-entered politics
and was re-elected to the Maine House of Representatives. In the spring
of 2010 Rep. Bolduc earned his Masters in Education from the University
of New England in Biddeford. Rep. Bolduc looks forward to beginning a career
in public education.
Rep. Bolduc's top priorities in the 125th Legislature will be
to balance the budget while looking out for the most vulnerable
in our society and continuing efforts to improve economic opportunities
in Maine and the water quality of the Androscoggin River. He is
a life long member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in New Auburn
and an avid river kayaker in his backyard on the banks of the
Androscoggin.
