Rep. Cain
Rep. Cain is serving her third term in the House of Representatives.
She serves as the House chair of the Joint Standing Committee
on Appropriations and Financial Affairs.
Rep. Cain received her Bachelor’s degree in vocal music
education from the University of Maine (2002) with highest honors.
She worked for the University’s Honors College for one
year before pursuing a Master’s degree in higher education
from Harvard University (2004).
Rep. Cain works part-time as Coordinator of Advancement for
the Honors College at the University of Maine and is a part-time
doctoral student studying higher education at the university.
She is also a member and State Chair of the Maine delegation
to the New England Board of Higher Education.
Rep. Cain lives in Orono with her husband, the Hon. Daniel B.
Williams, who represented Orono in the 119th Legislature, and
their dog, Bartlet the pug.
