Rep. Beck
Rep. Henry Beck is serving his second term in the Maine House of Representatives,
where he represents parts of Waterville and Oakland. He is a member of the
Legislatures Joint Standing Committee on Insurance and Financial Services.
A graduate of Waterville High School and Colby College, Rep. Beck is currently
completing a Certificate of Graduate Study in Health Policy and Management
at the Muskie School of Public Service. He is also an American Legion and
Sen. George J. Mitchell Scholar.
From 2006-2009, Rep. Beck served on the Waterville City Council. His primary
work on the Council was dedicated to the support and revitalization of Waterville's
North End.
Rep. Beck has experience with economic development and labor policy. In
January 2007, he traveled to New Orleans to work on recovery and wage policies
through a partnership with Catholic Charities.
