Rep. Briggs
Rep. Sheryl Briggs is serving her third term in the Maine House
of Representatives and is a member of the Joint Standing Committee
on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
As a member of the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee,
she has focused on protecting the Maine Warden Services along
with better outreach and support for outdoor enthusiasts throughout
Maine.
Locally, Rep. Briggs is a member of the River Valley Riders
ATV Club and Mexico Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club, in addition
to her membership with the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine.
Professionally, she serves as the executive secretary for the
Town of Mexico, and organizes the community’s annual Night
of Appreciation. She also coordinated a homecoming celebration
for 24 local Iraq war veterans.
Rep. Briggs has been married to Richard Briggs since 1975. They
have two grown children and three grandchildren.
