Rep. Lovejoy
Rep. Steve Lovejoy is serving his second term in the Maine House of Representatives.
He serves on the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee as well as the
Government Oversight Committee.
Born in Hollis, Maine, Rep. Lovejoy is a lifelong resident of
the Greater Portland area. He has worked in banking and finance
as well as economic development and holds degrees from USM, New
Hampshire College, and Southern New Hampshire University. He recently
served on the Downtown Portland Corporation board of directors
and has served in other board positions with community groups in
the past.
His major areas of focus are education and economic development,
as well as lending and consumer credit protection.
Rep. Lovejoy and his wife Nancy Hearne are the parents of six
grown children and have three grandchildren.
