Interpreters for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
(Teen Griffin, Manager, Legislative Information Office)

The Legislature has contracted with Pine Tree Society Deaf Services for two interpreters to be available every Tuesday through May 31 for the deaf and hard of hearing while the Legislature is in session. The interpreters are available on Tuesdays from 9 am to 5 p.m. for public hearings, work sessions, individual meetings with legislators and other requests related to legislative business. Arrangements should be made in advance to schedule blocks of time with the interpreters. To schedule times with the interpreters or for further information, call the Legislative Information Office at 287-1692.
