Senator Ron Collins was reelected to the Maine State Senate representing District 2 on November 6, 2012. District 2 includes the York County towns of Acton, Berwick, Cornish, Lebanon, Limerick, Newfield, North Berwick, Parsonsfield, Shapleigh, and Wells.

Collins was elected four times to the Maine House of Representatives where he served on the Government Oversight Committee and the Joint Standing Committee on Transportation.

In the 125th Legislature, Senator Collins served as chair of the Transportation Committee and was a member of the State and Local Government Committee.

A longtime activist in his community, Collins has served as President and Director of the Wells Rotary Club, Director of the Wells Chamber of Commerce, member of Wells Board of Assessment Review, and member of the Wells Planning Board and Comprehensive Planning Committee.

Senator Collins and Linda, his wife, are both life-long residents of York County.
