Rebecca Millett is serving her first term in the Legislature as the Senator from District 7 (Cape Elizabeth, part of Scarborough, and South Portland). Millett holds a BA in International Relations and a BS in Business Administration from American University. She earned her MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago. After serving in the Peace Corps and working in finance in New York, Millett moved home to Maine in 2000.

Millett attended Portland public schools, and upon returning to Maine, served on the Cape Elizabeth School Board from 2004 to 2010, and co-founded a citizens’ advocacy group to support advancements in local education. She lives in Cape Elizabeth with her husband and children.
