Stan J. Gerzofsky is currently serving his third term in the Maine Senate representing Senate District 10, which includes Freeport, Brunswick, Harpswell and Pownal.

Prior to his service in the Maine Senate, Senator Gerzofsky was elected to the Maine House of Representatives in 2000. During his four terms in office, he served on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, serving as House Chair for the last 3 terms and as a member of the Judiciary Committee, the Joint Committee on Joint Rules, and the House Committee on Elections.

In the Legislature, Stan’s major areas of policy interest are civil liberties and public safety. Senator Gerzofsky currently resides in Brunswick.
