 Construction on I-295 Southbound Gardiner Exits 51 Off /On and Exit 49

Motorists Need to be Aware of Ramp Closing and Construction Delays

 In preparation for the I-295 Southbound rehabilitation project, construction crews will begin milling and paving on Sunday, June 1st on the Exit 51 off ramp in Gardiner.  The ramp will be closed to traffic beginning at 9:00 pm and the ramp should be reopened to traffic at approximately 1:00am. During this period, motorists must use the Exit 49 off ramp.  Once the off ramp has been paved, the Exit 51 on ramp will be closed for similar work.  The work is expected to proceed from 1:00am until 6:00am.  Once operations are complete, the ramp will reopen.
