MARGINAL WAY PARK-AND-RIDE LOT TO CLOSE FOR RESTRIPING

MaineDOT announced today that the park-and-ride lot on Marginal Way in Portland, off the Franklin Arterial, will be closed as of 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28th through the evening of Sunday, September 30th so that the pavement striping on the lot can be repainted. While the ‘restriping’ is in progress, all entrances to the lot will be blocked off.

MaineDOT has scheduled the restriping to be performed at a time when it is expected to present the least inconvenience for park-and-ride lot users.

Alternate parking is available at the other park-and-ride lots located in the vicinity.  For a complete list of park-and-ride lots in Maine, please visit www.mainedot.gov.  

Carpoolers and vanpoolers who use the lot are advised that any vehicles that remain in the lot after 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28th will be towed.
