MAINE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

Description of State Maintenance Boundary Lines established for

delimiting the urban area of

 

Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine

Bangor

 

Beginning at a point at the northerly extremity of Bomarc Road, approximately 0.73 mile northerly of Burleigh Road; thence, southeasterly to the intersection of Burleigh Road and Essex Street; thence, southerly to the intersection of Stillwater Ave. And Hogan Road; thence, southerly along the east right-of-way of Hogan to a point south of the northbound on ramp to I-95; thence, southeasterly to Mount Hope Avenue at the Bangor-Veazie town line; thence, southerly along said town line to the Penobscot River; thence southwesterly via said river and Bangor-Brewer town line to the convergence of the Bangor-Brewer town line to the convergence of the Bangor-Brewer-Hampden town lines; thence, westerly via the Bangor-Hampden town line to the Bangor-Hermon town line; thence, northerly via said the town line to a point due west of the intersection of Union Street (State Route #222) and Davis Road; thence, due east to said point on Union Street; thence, northeasterly along the northerly right-of-way of Davis Road to the intersection of Finson Road; thence, northeasterly to a point on Broadway (State Route #15) 0.37 miles northwest of Pushaw Road, reference utility pole #99.31 on northeast side of Broadway; thence, southeasterly along the northeasterly right-of-way of Broadway to the intersection of Pushaw Road; thence, southeasterly to the northerly extremity of Bomarc Road, the point of beginning.

 

Note: Bridges, if any, bisected by the State Maintenance Line are in the rural area.
