Description
of State Maintenance Boundary Lines established for
delimiting
the urban area of
Brewer,
Penobscot County, Maine
Brewer
Beginning
at the point of convergence of the Eddington-Brewer-Veazie town
lines in the Penobscot River; thence, southeasterly via the Eddington-Brewer
town line to the southerly right-of-way of State Route 9; thence,
westerly via said right-of-way to Day Road; thence, southwesterly
to the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Pierce Road; thence, southerly
along the easterly right of way of Pierce Road to the intersection
of Bennett Road; thence, southeasterly to the intersection of Wilson
Street (U.S. Route 1A) and Dirigo Drive; thence, westerly north
of Dirigo Drive to the intersection of Green
Point Road and Dirigo Drive; thence , southwesterly to a
point on Wiswell Road 0.16 mile east of Central Avenue;
Thence,
southwesterly to Mill Street at the Brewer-Orrington town line,
thence, northwesterly via said town line to the Penobscot River,
convergence of Brewer-Orrington-Hampden town lines; thence, northeasterly
via said River and Brewer-Hampden-Bangor-Veazie town lines to convergence
of the Eddington-Brewer-Veazie town lines, point of beginning.
NOTE:
Bridges, if any, bisected by the rural urban zone line are in the
rural area.
