Description of State Maintenance Boundary Lines established for

 

delimiting the urban area of

 

Standish, Cumberland County, Maine

Standish- Sebago Lake: Route 35 excluded till 7/01/09

Beginning at the intersection of State Route 25 and Randall Road; thence, westerly to a point on State Route 35, 0.26 miles southwest of Apple Lane, reference CMP pole # 21; thence, northerly to a point on State Route 25, 0.15 miles west of Village View Drive, reference CMP pole # 16; thence, northeasterly to a point on Oak Hill Road, 0.46 miles northwest of Oak Ridge Road; thence, northeasterly to the northern most extremity of Juniper Lane; thence, northerly to the intersection of Moody Road and Goldie Lane, 0.52 miles northwest of State Route 35; thence, northeasterly to the western most extremity of Fox Run Road; thence, northeasterly to a point on State Route 114, 0.69 miles northwest of State Route 35, reference CMP pole # 26; thence, southeasterly to a point on State Route 35, 0.08 miles northeast of School St., reference CMP pole # 11; thence, southeasterly to State Route 114 at the Gorham-Standish Town Line; thence, southwesterly along said town line to State Route 25; thence, northwesterly along the southwesterly right of way of State Route 25 to the intersection of Randall Road, the point of beginning.

 

Two Trails:

Beginning at the intersection of State Route 25 and the eastern most intersection of Crestwood Road; thence, easterly along the northerly right of way of Route 25 to a point on State Route 25, 0.35 miles east of the intersection of State Route s 113 and 25, reference CMP pole # 62; thence, westerly along the southerly right of way of State Route 25 to the eastern most intersection of Crestwood Road, the point of beginning, for a distance of 1.46 miles.

 

A section of Saco Road, beginning at the Standish-Buxton town line and extending northerly to a point 0.26 miles south of Cape Road, a distance of 0.45 miles.

 

Note:  Bridges, if any, bisected by the State Maintenance Line are in the rural area.
