Work Zone Safety Trends

Between 1992 and 2001, 27 people were killed in crashes in Maine work areas. That's twenty seven families whose lives were changed forever. In 2001 alone, there were 756 crashes involving about 2,100 people, resulting in 3 fatalities and over 300 injuries in Maine's work zones.
