Bald Eagles Nest Discovery on Davis Island, Bypass Alternative N2/N8c

The following information is related to the recent discovery of a Bald Eagles Nest that is located within a previously approved bypass corridor for the Wiscasset Bypass.

MaineDOT is seeking public comments as to the regional importance of a US Route 1 bypass. Written comments will be accepted through January 14, 2011, after which MaineDOT will submit its recommendation to the new Governor and Administration. Please send your comments by the following:
