For colds and flu, sometimes the old remedies are the best -- plenty of rest and plenty of fluids. Check your cupboards to see what you have on hand if someone in your family is sick and you don't want to make a run to the store. Orange juice? Chicken soup? Tissues? Aspirin or other pain reliever?
