NOTICE OF HEARING
A hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. in the Labor Board Hearing Room, 2nd floor of the Elkins Building, 19 Elkins Lane (former AMHI complex), Augusta, Maine, to determine an appropriate bargaining unit for Sanford School Department Central Office Staff. The parties to the hearing are Central Office Staff EA/MEA/NEA, Sanford School Department and AFT Maine.
It is alleged that the following described unit is appropriate for the purposes of collective bargaining
INCLUDED: Receptionist, IC Coordinator, File Clerk, Accounts Receivable,
Accounts Payable, Payroll, Benefits, Title 1 Admin. Asst.,
Admin. Asst. to SPED/SAC Director, Admin. Asst. to SPED
Director K-6
EXCLUDED: Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent and all other employees of the Sanford School Department
This is a public hearing and any member of the public who wishes to attend may do so. Petitions to intervene, accompanied by a 10 percent showing of interest, must be received by the Board on or before June 16, 2011.
Should any employee or other person have questions or concerns regarding the foregoing, they may contact the Board office between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
