Studywiz Global Groups

Studywiz Global Linked Groups are intended to facilitate state-wide resource sharing, communication, and collaboration. Please ensure that your faculty and staff Studywiz users are enrolled in the appropriate Global Groups.

Current Global Linked Groups (Group name in Bold):

207 CTE - Career Technical Education school faculty and staff
207 Faculty Center - Please enroll all faculty and staff - MLTI resources, online Help desk, etc.
207 MS Teacher Leaders - for Middle School Teacher Leaders
207 HS Teacher Leaders - for High School Teacher Leaders
207 Technology Integrators - for Technology Integrators and Library/Media Specialists
207 TC Collaboration and Resources - all things technical for technical support personnel

If you feel that an additional Global Linked Group should be created or you need a Global Linked Group to support a specific need, please contact Jeff Mao, jeff.mao@maine.gov.

Instructions - Enrolling your Studywiz users into Global Linked Groups

Global Link Group membership is based upon membership in a local school group with the appropriate name. All members of your locally controlled and created group will automatically be enrolled into the Global Linked Group.

Step 1 - Create a local group for each Global Linked Group. It MUST be named xxxx Groupname. For example, to create a local group that auto-enrolls members into 207 CTE, you should create a local group named 1234 CTE where 1234 is your school's MEDMS School ID.

Step 2 - Add faculty and staff Studywiz user accounts to the group like any other Studywiz school group.

Please note: Local groups must be manually linked to the Global Linked Groups before the auto-enrollment begins to function. Once your local group is added to the Global Linked Group, local additions to your group will be effective immediately. If your local groups do not appear to be linked to the Global Linked Groups within 48 hours of creation, please email Jeff Mao, jeff.mao@maine.gov. Thank You.
