The 2009-10 MLTI laptop image will feature twenty outstanding student works of art.
The students whose artwork was selected will be recognized at the MLTI Student Conference being held on May 29, 2009 at the University of Maine at Orono. Two of the 20 students names will be randomly drawn to receive ipods. Some of the students and teachers who participated will be presenting a workshop at the conference to share what they have learned.
An invitation to submit artwork was sent in November 2008 and over 200 photographs from grades K-12 were submitted for consideration to be part of the screen saver.
Three judges scored the artwork independently and those receiving the top scores were selected for the screen saver. We plan to include artwork each year and hope many more will submit student work, whether for display on our website or to be taken into consideration for next year's image.
We are always looking for photos or artwork to be highlighted on our website. If you are a student or teacher, please submit a photo of a piece of student created artwork or of events at your school, following the guidelines below.
Please send photos following the guidelines below to Juanita Dickson:
For any student submitting artwork or appearing in a photo, a photo release form will be required before the artwork/photo can be displayed on our site. Please download the form and mail it to:
