- Maine InfoNet [MIN] supported by the Maine State Library and the University of Maine System, is a partnership of Maine libraries dedicated to improving information and library service to all Mainers through online systems and technology.

Other Responsibilities
- Administration of federal library-related programs
- State and federal data collection, compilation, and dissemination. Aggregating information from the public library annual reports is an important part of this function.

Statewide calendar through WebJunction Maine with Library related meetings, workshops, conference, and events.
Directories
Directories of Academic, Public, School and Special libraries, also public library trustee and friend presidents, email and website lists.
District Consultants
The Maine Regional Library System established three library service districts based on population. Membership is open to all public, school, academics, and special libraries in Maine. Also see School Library/Technology Planning Coordinator K-12/State E-rate Coordinator.
Maine State Library Development Office & the District Consultants
The Maine Regional Library System is administered by the Maine State Library and funded by the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
- Offer consultant services such as helping individual libraries with management issues and building construction
- Maintain professional lending collections
- Foster and promote cooperation among district libraries

Interlibrary Loan
- Maine State Library will supplement MSL resources and borrow items not owned by MSL from other libraries for libraries in the Central Maine Library District.
- The Van Delivery Service is made up of all types of libraries across the state. It is a voluntary service and participants pay a fee related to the number of stops per week and the number of totes picked up per stop day.
- Who Loans What list - a list of libraries in Maine accepting Interlibrary loan requests via email and any particular regulations they have for submission.

Outreach Services
Outreach Services is administered by the Maine State Library and funded by the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
- Services for People with Disabilities
- Support services for public libraries, such as a rotating Video Packet service; Large Print deposit collections; and a Statewide Summer Reading Program.
- Books by Mail for people in towns with no library or open less than 10 hours, and homebound Maine residents
School Libraries
Maine Department of Education School Library/Technology Planning Coordinator K-12/State E-rate Coordinator provides professional services to ensure Maine students are digital citizens provided with the access and skills necessary to be information literate in a technological environment.
