State of Maine 2002 Fall Photo Contest

Calling all shutterbugs! InforME (Information Resource of Maine), the State of Maine’s official website, http://www.maine.gov, is sponsoring a photo contest to celebrate the beauty and character of the State of Maine during the Fall season. Whether you’re a person who takes photos professionally or you’re just clicking away for the fun of it, we invite you to enter! Send us your pictures and share your adventurous, scenic, and breathtaking moments.

The photos that are chosen for first and second place will be displayed on the State of Maine’s homepage on a rotating basis during the fall months of September, October, and November of 2002, so dig out those leaf peeping, hiking, and camping photos because all photo entries must be received by Monday, August 12, 2002.

All photos must be in color, taken in the state of Maine within the last three years, and the photo subject must relate to the Fall Season in one of the following categories:

Maine's Natural Beauty - Coastal Scenes
Maine's Natural Beauty - Inland and Mountain Scenes
Maine's Natural Beauty - Wildlife
Maine Recreation
Maine Agriculture & Rural Life
Maine Cities and Towns
