Employee Recognition
Over 425 employees attended the Department of Administrative and Financial
Services Employee Recognition Day and were thanked for their hard work and dedication to
state service August 17. Special recognition was given to those employees with 25, 30, and 35 years of service, the employees of the month, employee of the year, manager of the year and the team of the
year. Following the presentation of awards, employees were treated to a chicken
barbecue and a special appearance by Don Ho and his Hawaiian Hula Honey.

The Statewide Governors Employee Recognition Day is scheduled for
September 21, at the Augusta Civic Center. Regional events are also being coordinated.
