Found on the Web
Two more personal favorites
I was looking at Found on the Web for August and saw the link about
looking up lost relatives...etc. I would like to submit another link www.anywho.com, which lets you do a reverse lookup on
phone numbers. Ever want to know who lives down the road? You can look up everyone on any
street by entering a single telephone number of a individual who lives there!

One of the web sites that I used for e-mail services during my
six-week vacation was www.mailstart.com. This site
does not require protocol changes, special addresses or servers, or long distance charges.
I simply typed my personal e-mail address and password, and mailstart.com retrieved all my
messages since the last time I logged on to my home computer. I could read, reply, send,
forward, etc. - all as if I were at home. I used this Web site from libraries and
friends/relatives homes from Maine to St. Louis, north along the Mississippi River, and
west to North Dakota. It was wonderful.

From Floyd White, BIS: There is a fantastic article from CNN about
accessibility and the Web, which is archived and should be available for a long time. http://www.cnn.com/2000/TECH/computing/08/07/web.site.accessibility.idg/index.html
