Attention Deer Hunters
Hunters wishing to hunt deer of either sex this year can now apply online.
The application form is available as a link from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries
and Wildlifes (IFW) web page at http://www.maine.gov/ifw/index.html.
To apply online, a hunter must have a current hunting license and can only apply once
either online or on paper.
The online application allows hunters to print a receipt so that they can
be sure the application has been received by the deadline. Applications are also available
from most license agents, and at all IFW regional headquarters and offices. In addition to
the Any-Deer permit, all hunting and fishing licenses are now available online with the
exception of short-term licenses.
