The Collaborative Road to Maine State Web Accessibility
June 23, 2005 Interactive Online Web Conference Sponsored by EASI
Ellen Wood, Chair of the Web Sub-Committee, and Kelly Hokkanen of InforME answered numerous questions after their presentation. Individuals from other states are very interested in Maine's strategies, software choices, mandated templates, and the degree of acceptance by employees.
If you would like to listen to the presentation, please note the following:
- Including audience questions, the archive is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes in length.
- There are two slight audio interruptions approximately 38-40 minutes into the presentation.
- The screens will advance as the topics are discussed; however you may also advance through them as you like by using the arrow keys above. This will not affect the audio portion.
- The audio portion can be manipulated by using the slide bar and buttons on the top left portion. The slide bar allows you to rewind or fast forward. The other buttons are the usual pause, stop, mute and volume adjustment.
An archive of the conference can be found at EASI's website.
The Power Point Presentation is available (1.48MB), as are the slides in rich text format (97 kbs).
