BANK SUPERINTENDENT'S NOTICE

TO INTERESTED PARTIES

 

            Norway Savings Bank, Norway, Maine, notified the Superintendent of the Bureau of Financial Institutions, pursuant to 9-B M.R.S.A. §336, of its intent to close its Oxford Wal-Mart branch office located at 1240 Main Street, Oxford, Maine.   

            You may request that the Bureau of Financial Institutions require Norway Savings Bank to submit a comprehensive application in support of their proposal through Thursday, January 29, 2009, pursuant to the provisions of 9-B M.R.S.A. §336.  Written comments should be submitted to the Bureau of Financial Institutions, 36 State House Station, February, Maine 04333-0036 and electronic comments may be filed through the Bureau of Financial Institutions' Web site at http://www.maine.gov/pfr/financialinstitutions/index.shtml.
