SUPERINTENDENT’S NOTICE

TO INTERESTED PARTIES

 

Please find attached the Bureau’s newly adopted Regulation 28: Loans to One Borrower Limitations, together with the Basis Statement, the Summary of Comments and the Bureau’s responses to those comments.  No substantive changes were made from the proposed rule.  Pursuant to its effective date, Maine banks are not required to employ the rules for calculating credit exposures in section 8 of the rule until April 1, 2013.
