Is my application confidential?

No. With the exception of Social Security Number, all application information is public. Contact information provided to the board is posted on our website.

 

How can I get a verification of license?

Send a letter/request including name, license number, mailing address, and payment of $25.00 to:

35 State House Station
Augusta, ME  04333

Please note: Checks/money orders may be made payable to “Treasurer, State of Maine” or you may submit a credit card authorization form.

 

How do I change my contact address?

Can I pick up my license once issued?

No, your license will be mailed to you.

 

What address should I use for an overnight package delivery, such as FedEx or UPS Overnight? 

The physical location is 76 Northern Avenue, Gardiner ME  04345.  Please note that United States Postal Service does not deliver to this address.
