Minutes of December 2, 2002 Public Board Meeting

- CALL TO ORDER
The Board was called to order by John Widdows, Chair at 8:55 a.m.
- ADMINISTRATOR’S COMMENTARY
Dorene shared that legislation is being proposed to revise Title 10. This may change the suspension time from 90 days to up to 1 year for a violation and a denial for an application may be added.
A proposal is being made to include FBI fingerprinting for new applicants.
The AASCB conference was discussed. Reid mentioned that perhaps the university would cover some of the costs of his attendance. Reid will let Dorene know if he can and will attend. Ted may be interested in attending also.
- APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Cindy Woodard moved to accept the minutes of October 28, 2002, and Reid Stevens seconded. Passed unanimously.
Ted Chaffee moved and Reid Stevens seconded to revise the June 24, 2002 minutes to add a sentence that was missing that was revealed during a taped part of the minutes.
- LICENSE APPLICATIONS AND RENEWALS
Reid Stevens moved and Scott Hutcherson seconded, to approve the new licenses as listed. Passed unanimously.
Cynthia Woodard moved and Ted Chaffee seconded, to deny the licenses as listed. Passed unanimously.
Ted Chaffee moved and Reid Stevens seconded, to approve the renewals as listed. Passed unanimously.
- SUPERVISOR APPROVALS
Ted Chaffee moved and Reid Stevens seconded, to approve Julia Macek as Danyelle Clough’s supervisor. Passed unanimously.
- MISCELLANEOUS
Ted Chaffee moved and Reid Stevens seconded to alter Jean Litchfield’s original consent agreement to allow to seek out two supervisors; one for substance abuse and one for clinical supervision, rather than one dually licensed person. Motion passed with 4 in favor and one abstention (John Widdows).
