- CALL TO ORDER
The Board was called to order by Ted Chaffee, Chair at 11:29 a.m.
- APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Cindy Woodard moved to approve the minutes of the June 23, 2003 with corrections. David Bellville seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
- ADMINISTRATOR’S COMMENTARY
Penny gave a budget update.
The public hearing for the rule regarding auditing of continuing education has been scheduled.
- COMMISSIONER MURRAY
Commissioner, Buddy Murray, came in to meet the Board. The Board introduced themselves, told where they were from, and what type of license they have.
- APPEAL HEARING
James Chivers: Reid Stevens move to uphold the denial for comity and Cynthia Woodard seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
- LICENSE APPLICATIONS AND RENEWALS
Ted Chaffee moved and Cynthia Woodard seconded, to approve the new licenses as listed. Passed unanimously.
Reid Stevens moved and David Bellville seconded, to deny the licenses as listed. Passed unanimously.
Cynthia Woodard moved and Reid Stevens seconded, to approve the renewals as listed. Passed unanimously.
- COMPLAINT PRESENTATIONS
Complaint presentations were postponed until the August meeting due to a lack of a quorum.
- SUPERVISOR APPROVALS
Reid Stevens moved and Karen St. Clair seconded to approve Sandra Schumann’s request for approval of supervisor Amy Simonds. Motion passed unanimously.
Karen St. Clair moved and Reid Stevens seconded to approve Stanley Pelletier’s request for approval of supervisor Gerard Pepin. Motion passed unanimously.
Reid Stevens moved and Karen St. Clair seconded to approve Diane Bowen’s request for approval of supervisor Debra Papps. Motion passed unanimously.
Karen St. Clair moved and Reid Stevens seconded to approve Stephanie Francis’ request for approval of supervisor Katharine Bates. Motion passed unanimously.
- INACTIVE STATUS
David Bellville moved and Ted Chaffee seconded to approve Dee Webber’s request for inactive status. Motion passed unanimously.
- CORRESPONDENCE
The licensee in Complaint COU-099 has sent a letter of compromise regarding the consent agreement. David Bellville moved and Cynthia Woodard seconded to not accept the compromise. Motion passed unanimously. Also submitted was a counter proposal with a statement of no harm. David Bellville moved and Reid Stevens seconded to not accept the counter proposal. Motion passed unanimously.
